Accounting Education of Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Riau Islamic University (UIR) was established based on the Decree of Director General of Higher Education Number: 1357/D/T/2005 dated May 10, 2005.
The main purpose of establishing Accounting Education at FKIP UIR is to meet the needs of teaching staff (educators) at vocational high school, and senior high school levels. In its development, the purpose of Accounting Education as outlined in the Graduate Profile, in addition to producing Educators is also to produce Economics and Accounting Instructors, Entrepreneurs, Research Assistants, and Financial Personnel.

“Producing graduates as prospective Accounting Educators, Accounting Staff, Research Assistants, and Entrepreneurs with Islamic character, adaptive and global insight.“
MISSION
a) Organizing a quality and standardized Accounting education program through learning by integrating Islamic values;
b) Carrying out innovation, research and scientific development in the field of Accounting Education based on Islamic values.
c) carry out scientific-based community service in the field of Accounting Education that is adaptive, useful, professional, and based on Islamic values.
d) Establishing cooperation in the field of accounting education with various related parties both at the national and international levels.
e) Carrying out guidance for the entire academic community of the Accounting Education Study Program in Islamic Da’wah activities.
