Physical, Health, and Recreation Education

The Physical Education Health and Recreation Study Program of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Islam Riau domiciled in Pekanbaru was established based on the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia No.0214/0/1986. The acceptance of Health Physical Education Study Program students was initially from Diploma 3 (D3) in 1986 to 1992 along with Srata 1 which conducted acceptance from 1987 to the present. The Health Physical Education Study Program is part of 9 study programs at FKIP UIR. When the study program was established, the Health Physical Education Study Program had 4 lecturers. Currently, the Health Physical Education Study Program consists of 24 permanent lecturers with Doctoral and Master qualifications. The Health Physical Education Study Program of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Islam Riau has been accredited with a Good accreditation rating based on Decree No. 1157/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/S/III/2021.
